World's Top Seven Richest Terrorist Group

The infamy we attribute to terrorist
groups defined as being volatile,
barbaric, and immeasurably reckless
certainly rings true. However, it isn’t
as popularly considered that in
addition to these adjectives,
terrorism, like any other form of
organized crime, is also highly
strategic, deliberate, and calculative.
Much of the strength of terrorist
organizations lies in the
interdependency they create between
themselves and the region in which
they operate. Economic
interdependency in particular is what
makes these forces of violence and
hate so difficult to combat; they
become embedded in a region and
the spoils of their crimes – literally
the profits gained from acts of
terrorism – are gained through the
tactical victimization of large
populations and local institutions.
There is great power in dirty money.
Much of what’s secured the reign of
terror these extremist and murderous
contingents have executed for years
is the huge profits their crimes rake
in. Extortion, assassination,
kidnapping, human trafficking,
counterfeiting, and drug trade (to
name a few of their criminal
activities) amount to a considerable
amount of cash. This in many ways
marks terrorism as being in fact a
business, and a successful one at
that.
Several of the most infamous names
in terrorism that we’ve come to learn
about in recent years have
maintained their high-stakes game of
power through being strongly
financially supported. Multimillion
dollar donations to terrorist groups by
other terrorist organizations,
sympathizing political parties, and
even governments themselves are not
unheard of and if it’s not the profit
gained from theft and murder that’s
to be had, it’s the financial support
procured from affiliates that maintain
terrorism as a moneymaking
enterprise.
‘Money makes the world go round’ by
making its rounds around the world.
When we consider how ill gotten cash
circulates and becomes recycled into
the community from which it’s
profited (and inevitably the rest of the
world amidst growing globalization),
it’s well understood that the cost of
crime is a higher tax than we can
continue to afford.
With that said, it becomes a point of
interest to learn which terrorist
groups profit the most from their
crimes against humanity. Of course,
it’s difficult to trace sums of money
that aren’t meant to be traced, and for
this reason, most of the dollar sums
we hear of are estimates when it
comes to documenting the richest
terrorist groups. Nonetheless, we’ve
ranked some of the wealthiest
terrorist organizations out there,
according to educated estimates
reported in the media, bringing to
light the dark reality of the profits
they’ve reaped at the expense of other
people’s lives.

7. Boko Haram: Over $70 million
via actforamerica.org
The Boko Haram are a Nigerian
terrorist group who fight to overthrow
the Nigerian government in order to
implement an Islamist regime. They
have bombed UN headquarters and
most recently abducted over 200
Nigerian school girls in defense of
their namesake “Western Education is
Sin”. Since they’ve remained off the
radar since their recent attacks, it’s
unclear just how much money they
make from their numerous
kidnappings and the subsequent
ransoms they procure. It has been
determined, however, that between
2006-2011, they collected over $70
million.
6. Lashkar-e-Tayyiba: $100 million a
year
via gg2.net
The Lashkar E Taiba, who call like to
call themselves the “Army of The
Righteous”, was founded in the
1990′s. They’re a militant group
originating from Pakistan who also
wreak havoc on India. Hypocritically
enough, apart from raging war and
killing hundreds of civilians, they also
establish several charitable
organizations in Pakistan, like
hospitals and schools. Regardless,
their extremist ideals and murderous
ways of executing them render them
a deadly threat. Their annual revenue
is estimated to be around $100
million, much of which is funded
through donations from affiliate
parties.
5. FARC: $80-$350 million a year
via ebarrongts.wordpress.com
The Marxist guerrilla group,
Revolutionary Armed Forces of
Colombia—People’s Army (FARC) has
been around since the 1960’s.
They’ve been dubbed a terrorist
threat in their country due to the
numerous kidnappings,
assassinations, and bombings
they’ve executed on Columbian
citizens in the name of anti-
imperialism. Apart from the money
the make from collecting ransoms
and through extortion, FARC also
produces and sells vast quantities of
illegal drugs that further fuel their
high annual revenue.
4. Al-Qaeda: Over $100 million a
year
via nypost.com
Founded by Osama Bin Ladin, the
global Islamist militant organization,
Al-Qaeda, a name which translates
to ‘The Base” has been around since
the 1980s. Having attacked several
civilian and military regions, Al-
Qaeda is well known around the
world as one of the largest and
deadliest terrorist groups. Suicide
bombings are among their favorite
tactics of destruction. What makes
this group such a tough force to
combat, is the fact that they have
wide-spread, terrorist group allies.
Before their 9/11 attack on the World
Trade Center in New York City, the
CIA estimated that Al-Qaeda made
well over $30 million a year, raised
mostly through donations; today,
that number has surely increased. Bin
Ladin was himself a multimillionaire
at the time he founded the
organization and about $10-15
million was reportedly paid annually
to the Taliban while he was leader.
3. Taliban: Over $400 million
via mirror.co.uk
The infamous Taliban of Afghanistan
secures the obscenely profitable
annual revenue of over $400 million
from expansive drug trade, human
trafficking, extortion, as well as a
large amount of donations from
foreign organizations that support
their ill-gotten empire. The Taliban
are responsible for a huge opium
production operation in Afghanistan
that heavily contributes to an
estimated $70-$400 million that they
rake in annually from illicit drug trade
alone.
2. IRA: Over $450 million
The Irish Republican Army (IRA) has
been dubbed one of the more
prominent professional money
laundering organizations in Europe.
Originating as a revolutionary group
fighting for Irish independence from
Britain, the IRA fought for political
control for several decades. They are
considered a terrorist group due to
countless bombings and
assassinations attributed to them
during the revolt against imposing
British rule in Ireland. They now own
numerous small businesses
throughout the UK and allegedly use
the profits to fuel their criminal acts,
according to Ireland’s organized
crime task-force. The IRA also builds
significant revenue through drugs, tax
fraud, robberies, smuggling and
counterfeiting.
In 2013, the Irish Independent
reported that the IRA were connected
to the Italian mafia to the tune of 450
million euro in property assets – this
is only one link that has been made
public, and prompts theorizing as to
the groups further mafia links both in
Italy and elsewhere. It has been
estimated – as per a 2005 Guardian
report – that the IRA have made the
equivalent of $17 million yearly in
organised crime operations like
smuggling.
Since the ceasefire in Ireland as a
result of the Good Friday Agreement
in 1999, the group are officially
decommissioned and in 2005 they
announced an official end to their
campaign, but reports of illegal,
underground money-making
activities spearheaded by the group
persist.
1. ISIS: $2 billion
via nbcnews.com
The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria,
more commonly known as ISIS –
which was once a part of Al Qaeda –
has been dubbed the richest terrorist
group to date. The jihadist militant
group has recently made headlines
after one of their most prominent
leaders (who was captured by Iraqi
officials) spilled the secrets of their
exploits and uncovered the grim
reality of their obscene wealth. ISIS is
worth an estimated $2 billion, much
of this money coming from looted
weapons and bank robberies. Having
stripped a broken Syria of its oil
reserves and even priceless artifacts
from archaeological sites, ISIS has
secured an enormous wealth from
crime. The group comprised of
thousands of members is still a very
active threat, having killed thousands
of civilians and government agents
and still running rampant within a
highly sophisticated infrastructure.
They are, it is believed, the richest
terrorist organisation in the world
today by a large margin.

life lessons Learnt From Nigeria's 2-0 Defeat By France

I may not be a sports fanatic, or
follow closely the exploits of the likes
of messi and rolnaldo or understand
the schematics of the UEFA
champions league or FIFA world cup.
But one thing I know is ... I am big fan
of the super eagles. I try my best not
miss their matches. Her encounter
with France was of no
exception...4days ago I sat glued to a
Tv set for more that 90 minutes
hoping and praying we would win
that game. But alas we were beating
2-0 ... 2 freaking zero... till today
those goals keep replaying in my
head. *arrggghhh*. I had two option,
to either feel bad for our failure or to
see this as one of my numerous
learning opportunities and instead
focus on deriving insight and
inspiration from this depressing
encounter. Alas I chose the latter.
Below are really key lessons I
relearned from that encounter .
In the first half we played strong, we
shook their defense, we had more ball
possession, nearly 80% of people I
communicated with during the early
phase of the match were positive we
would win... but alas with several
minute into the second half and few
minutes to go, our hopes of moving
to the quarter finals were dashed with
2 goals. What surprised me was not
the two goals we conceded but
France's strategy... It occurred to me
that they had been conserving their
energy for the latter part of the match,
they also tricked us to underestimate
them by not coming on strong. At the
same time building a very strong
defense, so even though we had more
ball possession we couldn't score.
Now with few minutes to go they
started playing with more energy and
vigor, their performance and speed
increased.
To my surprise France started playing
world class football, there passes
became more sharper, at this juncture
our players were already tired plus
they were taken unawares by the
spike in France performance level
given that the French had
physiologically made them to
underestimate them. I believe France
adopted this strategy after watching
our march with Argentina paying
more attention to how fast we
equalized. They knew that they stood
a higher chance to score a goal at the
tail end of the march leaving the
super eagles with no time to equalize
after having noticed that we always
wear out during the ending period of a
match.
The strategy was simple Take them
by surprise and never give them room
to recover. On understanding this I
smiled and gave a standing ovation
for France.
The point is
To win you need a strategy not just
any strategy a brilliant strategy : We
all want to win in life, Win that juicy
promotion, Win that scholarship
opportunity, Win the heart of the love
of our life. we all want to succeed in
life ... but have you sat down to build
a winning strategy. How you intend
to get from where you are to where
you want to be, have your
understudied your opponents, the
risks and challenges you would face
on the way and have you built a
contingency plan, or do you just live
life by chance, moving towards any
direction the wind of life pushes you
to.
You want to excel, who do you need
to know, what role are they going to
play in your life at what time, what
knowledge and insight do you require
to get there, what steps are you
making to reach for stars. What
strategy are you building to outsmart
your stumbling blocks.
As you build your strategy Stick this
into your head, "Brain will always win
over might" Just like France beat us
using their brain over our might. So it
is in life. Design a brilliant strategy
that is focused on working smarter
instead of harder... As a popular
saying goes..." If na by muscle
bricklayer for become billionaire " ...
Never forget that Smart people never
stay poor.
The most important battles are
fought in the mind: When France
gave us the first goal. I could feel how
demoralized our players were, they
lost their cool and their performance
dwindled... It was evident the French
didn't just score they damaged their
psyche. It was evident our players
lost hope... they didn't believe they
could equalize. This was evident in
the way Osaze carelessly left the ball
to go offside which eventually lead to
the second goal.
The point is there will be moments in
life where your faith will be tested,
Where you will be put through fire &
brimstone. Where the light at the end
of the tunnel instead of getting
brighter will shut right in your face.
You'll feel like there is no need to
hope again. In moments like this, It is
very crucial you never say never, hope
again, never stop believing in
miracles, never give up. Because the
moment you stop believing, in that
same moment you fail before even
failing.
If possible reach for greatness let
your set back inspire you and drive
you. Let it make you better. The good
thing with this approach is that even
if you eventually fail ... You would've
have failed with class. Something we
did during our encounter with
Argentina... We lost by one goal but
we still applauded them because they
fought to the end... the played good
football throughout.
Finally it not about how you start but
how you end. The end RESULTS is all
that matter in life no one freaking
cares about how hard you've toiled,
how many attempts or shot you
made to achieve success, How you
started brilliantly all they care about
is results, end results.
It is evident that 70% of the time we
played good football, we had more
possession ... we dribbled we were
on point but at the end we lost and
we lost woefully, we made terrible
mistakes. That is all we remember..
the mistakes, Yobo's own goal,
Mikels poor performance, Osaze's
misjudgement, Enyema's poor
judgment that lead to the goals.
The world celebrate heroes, they
celebrate winners, They never give
f*uk about failures... do whatever it
takes that is just and within the
confines of your conscience ... to
freaking succeed.
In all be smart and NEVER SAY
NEVER.

TOP 10 MOST DANGEROUS BEACHES IN THE WORLD

I don’t think there would be anyone who doesn’t like a
beach trip. Isn’t it? Yes definitely and this is why every
years millions and billions of tourists from all parts of
the world love to spend their summer and winter
vacations at the beach points. A lot of countries can be
named in this regard to have beautiful and refreshing
beaches where the people simply love to spend their
holidays. When it comes for us to think of a beach, we
start imagining of a place with crystal clear water, green
areas and mountains spread all around and a refreshing
atmosphere. But certainly there are some beaches in the
world which have been designated as the dangerous
points. The government and people of those areas have
strictly forbid the tourists to make them their
destination. So here are those top 10 most dangerous
beaches in the world which can be really risky for you if
you think of going there.
10. Perth Beach
Perth is situated in Western Australia and is named as a
hotspot of deadly big fishes. Perth is especially the
habitat of sharks and big whales so diving into this
beach is absolutely wrong.
9. Northern Coast Beach
Northern Coast is a widely spread beach in northern
Australia. It is said to be the hub of poisonous snakes
and dangerous whales. Even the tiny jellyfishes of this
beach are said to be life killing and they bite the divers
and tend to intake their blood within a few minutes.
8. Cape Town Beach
Cape Town beach is a famous South African beach,
known for its natural beauty and spectacular
atmosphere. But do you know still the people avoid
going there, why? It is just because Cape Town beach is
full of tiny and very small fishes and insects which kill
the human beings and make their bodies their diet.
7. Horry County
Horry County is a vast beach of Southern Carolina
famous for its crystal clear green colored water. Since
the day this beach came into being, it is said to have
killed more than 500 people. This dangerous beach is
the habitat of dangerous sharks and anaconda. Although
the anacondas are not present here in extensive number
but still whatever their number is, we can not say this
beach safe for the visitors at any cost. Who knows an
anaconda or shark might arise from the inner of the
water and kill someone.
6. Hanakapiai Beach
It is one of the famous and well known beaches of
Hawaii, but due to many reasons the government has
not allowed the international tourists to come and spend
their time here. One of the reasons is that this beach is
absolutely an unsafe place as it is full of insects. The
insects of this beach are so drastic and dangerous that
they immediately start biting their hunts. They reach
their hunt (which is actually their food) via smell. But of
course the local people can adopt the required measures
so they can visit this beach every now and then.
5. Long Beach Island
From an appearance point of view, this New Jersey
beach is awesome and wonderful. Getting inspired with
the beauty and greenery spread all around this beach
won’t be wrong at all but if you think of diving into the
water then don’t. Think thrice before making this
decision because the local fishermen of the area don’t
recommend it a suitable beach. They say it’s a hub of
tiger sharks, which are really dangerous that they can
sniff the humans from a distance of 3 kilometers. This is
why even the three to four kilometer area around this
beach is absolutely unsafe.
4. Marshall Beach
Marshall beach is a part of Marshall Island, USA.
Marshall Islands is place of over 2000 small beaches
but Marshall beach is the leading and prior out of them
not because it is cool to visit beach but just because
some dangerous snakes, leopards and life-killing sharks
are present here in great number. For a decade, these
deadly creatures have killed and eaten up more than 300
tourists. So the government has taken measures to stop
the visiting and trip plans of this beach due to security
reasons.
3. New Smyrna Beach
New Smyrna beach is a situated in Florida. Planning a
trip to this wonderful natural point is what every tourist
and local citizen do during weekends. The sun-rays and
sparkling beauty of the beach is simply an awesome
experience for all of us to go with, but still this beach is
a restricted point because of its dangerous water
species. The tiger sharks and whales are among the
most dangerous species which are said to be the main
reason for naming this beach a bad tourist point of
Florida.
2. Alter do Chao Beach
Alter do Chao is a primary tropical area of San Paolo. It
is the hub of piranhas, the tiny and sharp-teethed
swimming creatures. Due to the tremendously
increasing population of piranhas, this beach is not at
all safe for the tourists especially for swimmers. So you
can visit this beach but don’t you dare to dive into the
water or think of shipping because it is not a good idea
from a security point of view.
1. Ponce de Leon Inlet
It is yet another most dangerous beach of Florida and
was named as an absolutely restricted to visit place for
the people. The sharks of this beach have so far attacked
and killed more than 200 people.
It is the barrier of central Florida Island, and
distinguishes it from the Northern Florida. The natural
beauty and wonderful sunshine of this beach point is
really inspirational but what makes us think of
dismissing our idea to visit here is its poor coastline and
security system.

Do you want to know the easiest way in the world to make money online or you just want to be part of the people that contribute in the decision making on products if yes read this post.

Making money online is real. Many people in Africa are still no leveraging the opportunities that the internet has brought to this our present generations one, of such opportunities is making money with the internet. In the western world there are plenty of internets billions while down here there are only few of people making million on the internet
“Why is this so?”.
According to my own view many people down here still believe in physical thing (i.e. what they can see, feel and touch) which the internet does not have. But to be honest with you the world has change beyond that. is it not when you see something before you think it is real but, what you see in what that service will provide that is what matter most.
So finding a way to solve this problem. Makes me discover the easiest way to make money on the internet. Which is carry out survey for company

What is internet survey
Internet survey is an act in which you consider a product or services in a general or very broad way so as to help the manufacturer, to improve more on the goods and services they offer to their consumers. It involves registering with a survey bookmarking site such as surveysavvy, cashcreate, survey spot etc.
It is also an act in which you give your opinion about service and product and you get paid on your opinions.

Moving to part of greatness.

I will be sharing with you on how to start making money from survey bookmarks in few seconds.
The book mark I will be introduces you to is SurveySavvy

SurveySavvy is an online community where members can participate in paid market research. SurveySavvy.com was founded by Luth Research, a 30 year old market research firm based in San Diego, California. For close to ten years SurveySavvy has been providing its members high paying survey opportunities. They have roughly 3 million members spread over more than one hundred countries. Survey Savvy has also paid out more than any other survey company, a total of over 14 million dollars. SurveySavvy.com has a pa

yment structure that seems to be better than other competitive survey companies. They pay a minimum of $3 per survey but usually more than that, depending on the amount of questions. They also have a referral system that pays you per member you recruit and $2 for every survey they complete. SurveySavvy also has many ongoing promotions for members that don't qualify for surveys in the form of monthly prize pools. One thing that I do like about SurveySavvy.com is that there is no minimum payout, you can cash out whenever you please and have a check mailed to you. In comparison to other online Survey sites SurveySavvy is one of the best, they provide the most opportunities with the least spam and junk mail.

Survey Savvy Scam Reviews by David Harris

For those who still not believe in making money on surveysavvy this is a scam review of the site by one of the world most reputable online scam agency.
“Survey Savvy” found at surveysavvy.com, is an online paid survey panel founded in 1999 by Luth Research, a market research company based in San Diego
California. SurveySavvy has 1.5 million panel members from nearly 200 countries, and parent company Luth LLC currently enjoys an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (bbb). It’s free to become a member of “Survey Savvy”, and you can participate as long as you are over the age of 14 and have access to a computer or smart phone. Survey Savvy rewards their members for completing surveys, referring others, and unlike most companies they also compensate you when people you refer then refer others who complete surveys. It does take 1-3 months from when your referred referrals complete a survey for you to get paid, but its at least is one extra way to get paid. It’s still not lucrative, though “Survey Savvy” does pay $2 and up for most surveys. You only need $1 to “cash out”, which is also different than many companies. They currently do not pay by Paypal – another difference between Survey Savvy and
other companies – rather they send checks to your address. (There does appear to be concern from some members that it often takes well over a month to receive the checks – but you do eventually get paid, and Survey Savvy does tell you it takes from 4 to 12 weeks.) You should always keep your Survey Savvy membership profile updated to increase your chance at qualifying for a survey, but even if you don’t qualify, Survey Savvy enters you into monthly drawings for fifty $10 prizes. Survey Savvy also will in some cases call you to verify your information or survey answers. survey Savvy does seem to have it’s strong points – including comparatively fair compensation and the unique referral program. The down side appears to be the length of time it takes to wait for your check. Amongst paid survey companies, Survey Savvy is a reputable and legitimate company which pays as good as most. As long as you don’t have inflated expectations as to what that means – as you won’t make a living doing surveys with even the best companies – Survey Savvy appears to be amongst your better choices. Update: An update from Survey Savvy in April 2012 warns their members of a scam using their name, and offering a Business Evaluation for a $150 incentive. They ask you for your contact information to be sent to a different address. Don’t do it. It’s not them. Same thing with a Mystery Shopper “offer” that came out in 2011, with the scam requesting you wire them money. That too is a phishing scam targeting Survey Savvy members. Again, Survey Savvy itself is a reputable paid survey company. Paid survey sites like “Survey Savvy” are a hobby at best because one can earn only a very small amount completing them. I don’t recommend “Survey Savvy” or any get paid to complete survey sites, but if you have to, this one is actually legitimate. Thanks for reading…

How to be on survey savvy
Step one: go to this book mark in your browser
https://www.surveysavvy.com/?m=6248670
step two: a registration page will pop out fill it with your real details because that will determine where your money will be sent to when you request for paymen.
Step three: make sure you fill in your valid email address
Step three:
Make sure you update your profile every time because that will increase your chance of getting survey every time.

How to get your payment.
Good news here many people do not want be involve with online biz due to limitation in payment gate way. Limitation such has having a paypal account which is not currently working to be receiving payment in Nigeria. Surveysavvy will send you your check to your email or pay directly to your bank account.

Who can participate in this program?
Anybody can participate in survey because of is flexibility. You don’t need to log in every time to the site, whenever there is a survey you will be notify in your email address. Anybody can participate in the survey program. It the cheapest way to make extra income without doing much. And the smartest option for student to be financially free.

IS YOUR OVER-ANALYZING SABOTAGING YOUR RELATIONSHIP?

Are you over-analyzing your
relationship way more than you
should? Find out what’s acceptable,
what crosses the line, and what’s
dangerous right here. By Briallyn
Smith.
It’s always good to be paying
attention to what’s going on in your
relationship and watching for signs
that everything is going well.
After all, a healthy relationship will
have both, you and your partner, on
the same page.
But that being said, there is a very
fine line between being aware and
over-analyzing.
And it is important to know whether
or not you are someone with a
tendency to cross that line.
While attention to detail can be a
wonderful character trait – being able
to remember your significant other’s
birthday and favorite ice cream
allows you to make them feel special
and loved.

On the other hand, over-analyzing
can lead to a lack of trust,
miscommunication, hard feelings, or
even heartbreak.
Are you an over-analyzer? Which one
of these situations do you most
relate to?

Couple #1 Anneliese and Steve

Anneliese has been with her boyfriend
Steve for four months. They see each
other about three days a week, and
often spend the night at each other’s
apartments.
On the days that they don’t spend
together, Steve will often send a good
morning text and the two of them will
text once or twice throughout the day,
especially if something funny
happens at work.
If there is a day when Steve doesn’t
text first, Anneliese will text him good
morning instead, and ask a couple of
open questions later in the day about
work and Steve’s evening plans, just
to check in and make sure that he
isn’t feeling stressed or
overwhelmed.

Couple #2 Stephanie and Marc

Stephanie and Marc have also been
together for four months. They spend
the weekends together, but rely on
texts and phone calls to keep in touch
during the week.
If Marc hasn’t texted Stephanie by
ten in the morning, she starts to
wonder if she has done anything to
upset him over the last couple days,
or if he might be starting to lose
interest in their relationship – after
all, she reasons, four months isn’t
really long enough to be certain you
want to make a relationship work.
On these days, she texts Marc a
carefully worded question about what
his plans are for the rest of the day,
and watches his Facebook and
Twitter to make sure that he is with
the people he says he is. If Marc’s
responses seem short or out of
character, Stephanie quickly forwards
them to two of her best friends so
that she can make sure she isn’t
over-reacting to the situation.

Couple #3 Carrie and Jonathan

Carrie and Jonathan have just passed
the four-month mark in their
relationship. They generally go out
three or four times during the week,
but both have other obligations on
the weekends, and sometimes when
they’re busy, they won’t see each
other at all.
Jonathan will often text Carrie first
thing in the morning, but on other
days, he’ll forget. Carrie knows that
this is probably just because he
forgot, and doesn’t think of it again –
sometimes, she’ll text him later in the
day if she has a question about their
plans for the week, but other times
she won’t hear from him until the
next morning. Carrie trusts Jonathan,
and rarely glances at anything he
does on social media.

Which one are you?

All of the examples above are pretty
obvious – Annelise has a balanced
relationship with her boyfriend,
Stephanie is definitely an over-
analyzer, and Carrie probably isn’t
analyzing her relationship enough.
That being said, there was probably
one character that you related to the
most, and you should listen to what
that is telling you!
Five signs you’re over-analyzing your
relationship
Let’s break it down a little further,
and look at the top five signs that you
are an over-analyzer.

#1 You’re a facebook detective.

Facebook is meant for keeping up
with your friends, not for intensive
research. Don’t seek out his profile or
investigate the people liking his
statuses – that’s taking it a step too
far!

#2 You treat his/her texts like they’re
assigned-reading for a Literature
class. Texts are usually sent while
the person you’re dating is doing
other things. I guarantee that the lack
of punctuation or choice of words
were not done to send you a secret
message – don’t treat each text like
you’ll need to write an essay on it
later! Read it once and respond.

#3 You send cryptic texts and expect
him to crack the code. Just like he
probably isn’t trying to send you
secret messages in texts, he’s also
not expecting to receive them! You
shouldn’t send messages that are
any deeper than face value. If he
doesn’t see the secret message, it’s
not because he doesn’t care, it’s
because he doesn’t know to look for
it! Say what you mean – that’s
enough!

#4 New steps in the relationship are a group discussion. Have you ever
heard the saying “too many cooks
spoiled the broth”? While it’s good to
have a single trusted friend you go to
with serious relationship concerns,
you should not be parading every text
or message you receive around to
everyone that you know. The
relationship is between you and your
partner – no one else!

#5 You act more like his parole
officer than a girlfriend. If he tells you
that he’ll be home *or call, or text* at
a certain time and isn’t able to, you
can’t immediately jump to negative
conclusions. Obviously, if there’s a
pattern to this, it’s worth a
discussion, but individual incidents
should be met with understanding
*everyone has days that don’t go as
planned*, not endless questions and
suspicion!

Why is over-analyzing harmful?

The danger of over-analyzing short-
term relationships

Over-analyzing is most common in
relationships that are still at the
newly-dating stage. After all, it
doesn’t matter what age you are –
when you catch that cute guy’s eye at
a work party, and he asks for your
number, the butterflies in your
stomach can make you feel like
you’re thirteen again!
The whole newly-in-love experience
will be so much more fun for you if
you are able to let go of the details
and just appreciate each new step in
the relationship for what it is.
Now that most flirting is done online
or through text, it is very tempting to
show your friends your new fling’s
social media pages or to let them
scroll through the messages you’ve
exchanged asking them what they
think he might have meant, or for
their advice about what you should
say back.
While this can be incredibly fun, your
relationship is supposed to be
between you and one other person –
your friends shouldn’t be the people
helping your relationship along, and
in fact, they might be hurting your
relationship instead!

The danger of over-analyzing long-
term relationships

While over-analyzing a new
relationship can send it to an early
grave, the dangers of over-analyzing
a long-term relationship are even
worse, because you can destroy a
relationship that you have already
invested a lot of time and emotion
into.
When you are in a long-term
relationship, you need to trust your
partner *and if your gut tells you not
to trust them, then you need to get
out!* If you can’t trust them enough
to believe that they say what they
mean when they send you a text, then
you can very quickly frustrate them
and make them think that they will
never be good enough for you. That
kind of dynamics in a relationship
can force it to end very quickly.

How can you learn to stop over-
analyzing?

Making yourself transition to not
being such an over-analyzer can be a
very difficult switch! Try to have more
open conversations with your partner
about any worries you have in the
relationship, cut down on the number
of times you go to your friends with
advice, and try to let the little things
slide.
Even the most wonderful people on
earth are only human, and they won’t
always say the right thing, but that
doesn’t mean that they love you any
less! Letting your partner know that
over-analyzing is something that you
struggle with, but that you are willing
to work through it will give you some
grace as you adjust, and your partner
may have some excellent ideas about
how to make your relationship work
better too!
After all, this relationship is about the
both of you, and it will always take
cooperation and communication to
keep your relationship healthy.

Analyzing the little details in love
may make you feel better for a
moment. But over-analyzing every
little detail of your relationship will
only hurt you more than you can
imagine, and leave you with a
headache too!

We’re trying hard to create better
relationships in the world.
But we can’t do it without YOU!
Did this feature help you better
yourself or your relationship?
You can change someone else’s life
too!
