Quite a number of Nigerian celebrities turned up for the Butterscotch evenings (2) event which held on Saturday night at the Eko Convention Centre. Amongst those who attended were Rita Dominic, Sasha P, Omoni Oboli, Toolz, Linda Ikeji amongst several others.

Annie Idibia jetted out of the country over the weekend to have her second child and bumped into none other than ex-MBGN and fashionista, Nike Oshinowo at the airport lounge. The pair reportedly bonded as they waited for their flight together

Don Jazzy, Wande Coal At War?-naijaswap

Rumours have been making the rounds that Don Jazzy and his former protégé, Wande Coal, were at logger heads. What’s more, both musicians have confirmed the story, at least, by their actions. This silent separation occurred in August, but was very evident when the dark-skinned singer released a new video titledRotate, without any mention of Mavin Records or Don Jazzy.

During the week, he released another single titled Babyface, under his Black Diamond Entertainment label.  Apparently, this action marked the beginning of the bitter Twitter war between the both of them.  According to the producer, Wande Coal “stole” the song from him. He went further to post a link of the demo he made of the song about a year ago. 

Wande replied by posting what he called the “original demo of the same song” also recorded a year ago!  Wande also said there was absolutely no reason for Don Jazzy to say what he said on Twitter, as he had better ways of contacting him if he had anything to discuss. “Don Jazzy is not God” and he couldn’t stop him from progressing in life. 

Issues like this are not supposed to be discussed in public, except if one side wants to score cheap points over the other. At least, both were once colleagues. Of course, there are better ways through which this matter could have been solved. Concerned fans of both acts are seriously waiting to see how this ‘beef’ will be cooked and done with.  As some have said, they were “disappointed in Don Jazzy for acting childish”.

A 40-acre mansion estate that contains eight houses, a personal zoo, a car museum and it’s very own AIRPORT is going up for sale.

The colossal ranch – located just minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas strip – has had its price tag slashed by nearly a third.

That said, it will still set you back a cool $48m.

The outrageous property, which is being sold by Synergy Sotherby’s International, has a main house and another seven additional houses.

If that wasn’t enough the estate has a 37 stall stable and a 16 stall stable for all you horsey types, a gaming room, a tennis court and an expanse of grounds.

But the pièce de résistance has to be the private jet complete with its own runway and airport – even though the city’s McCarran airport is literally minutes away.

M.I Abaga Says He Wasn’t Dissing Olamide + Why Late Dagrin Is Irreplacable

The African rapper #1 has come out to open up on his tack talking about Dagrin and also that the lyrics weren’t in any way aimed at Olamide.

“Look at my history, I have beef with someone, I mention their names. ‘Akpata’ wasn’t targeted at anyone. A few people went to town saying it was targeted at Olamide but it wasn’t. I’m saying that because a lot of people have implied that because I said a line about DaGrin, I was dissing Olamide.

If anyone got the wrong idea, I apologize. The line about DaGrin was more about DaGrin than it was about anyone else.

DaGrin was a hero.He was a real success story for the streets. He was special, he had an energy that was like nothing else.

When he died, nothing else mattered to entertainers ; he was that special. I think Olamide is super creative and so is Reminisce and I think so far they have done great with indigenous ‎rap but DaGrin will stay in a special place”
